Blowy, but so lovely to see the sun shining

It really is so lovely to see the sun shining for a second day in a row. I have put another line of washing out to dry and I love the fresh smell when comes back in.

The daffodils are starting to bloom and is is so lovely to see there beautiful yellow blooms after all the storms. I am really surprised there withstood the winds

It really sends hope for the spring being on its way.

Do we all have that corner in our house

 Well actually if I am completely honest it is more like which corner is not like it. 

The issue is too much stuff for a small bungalow and do something really has to change. I am so fed up with living like it and the only one who is likely to make a difference is me. 

Dh has stuff in all rooms that does not get used but none of it is likely to go so on that basis I have to work on mine alone and see whether I can make a difference to the overall picture.

The first area to tackle is the catch all corner in the kitchen which currently seems to hold all of the plastic tubs I own.

This is one of the many piles from the fallen tree. It really is mostly brambles and twigs which I should be able to cut and fit in my green garden waste bin.

The bits in the other direction may be a different story.

Storm Eunice

So I  thought we had got off lightly yesterday with no real damage but I was wrong. 

Our plum tree that is very close to the house came down and crushed the fence. 

I have been out there trying to take it down but think I need more powerful power tools to tackle jobs like this.
