It has been months of searching if not years to get someone to cut some of our trees back but then they just knocked on our door.
Whilst I was at work on Thursday they knocked on the door offering to cut the trees back and despite the high risk of being conned we just went for it.
They cut back the oak tree in the front.
They took out some dead conifers also in the front.
They cut the hedges.
And the cherry tree in the centre of the lawn.
They also did the apple tree in the back garden.
All in all it was expensive but the tasks are now done.
